More Hypocracy from Hollywood

So Roseanne Barr has decided that the best way to put herself back in the news is go after the golden ones:

jon voight your evil spawn angelina jolie and her vacuous hubby brad pitt make about forty million dollars a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more.

Really, should Rosanne Barr be criticising anyone for consuming anything? (just sayin')

I just popped over here from FMH after your wonderful shout-out to PHP in Utah. I thought about mentioning them but wasn't sure of the author's location.

Can't wait to read a little of your blog! Especially since I'm a CA girl with much to say and an alarming record of rightness.

Oh Rosanne...when will she just stop! :P

Oh, dear. Poor Roseanne met her consumption quota, like, in 1992!

I heard her yell when I went and saw Michael Moore at UVSC back whenever that was. Michael Moore was funny. Roseanne, not so much.

I get really irritated when people suggest that I am having more children than is socially responsible. I'll stop now though, before I start ranting...

I think fat people should avoid using the word 'consume' at all costs.

Alli- feel free to rant at any time. My thoughts on children is if you can afford them- then have them.

I pretty much disagree with your comment about having children, "if you can afford them- then have them".

Rather than write a book here on your comments, I instead decided to just put a post on my own blog to explain my take on the matter.

And my thought on children is 'if you and your spouse can provide for them without going on welfare or using the church's resources AND you have the personality and patience to deal with them so I don't ever see you on the nightly news for child abuse, then have them.'

Daisy- amen and amen

Are there any guarantees that you won't go on welfare after you have them? Because I was about a month away from being there and I can assure you that I was trying harder than anyone I know to change my situation.

My question, how much is enough to afford a child? Do you need to have the entire amount in savings before you enter into that life long commitment? What if your child is born with a medical condition that costs 100's of thousands of dollars a year to sustain life? Are there any guarantees in life?

I don't think that you can quantify any of these things and yet you are bold enough to make such a judgmental statement "if you can afford it". And don't forget, everything that you have is given to you, at any time it could all be taken away. Job had 7 sons and 3 daughters and everything was taken away.
